I shared a few images from my maternity shoot last week but I wanted to share some more today! I asked Riley, of Riley Dacus Photography, a few months ago if she’d be interested in taking some photos for me and I’m so glad I did! I’ve known Riley since she was tiny, in fact, I have a few memories of babysitting for her and her sisters! When I saw she was getting into photography I was so impressed with her work and thought some maternity photos might be fun! Brent and I had a blast with her (in fact, she and Brent are now BFFs) and I’m already looking forward to taking more photos with her in the future!

I couldn’t pass up wearing a cape for photos! Why not?
Green cape (similar here and here)
And then a quick outfit change (which I impressively did right there on the river bank)!
This is one of my favorites:
Burgundy Maternity Evening Gown (c/o PinkBlush), Jacket (similar)
You know I’m not a huge fan of having my photo taken so Brent’s job is always to try to make me laugh and feel more comfortable. Mission accomplished!
See those tiny baby shoes? When Target launched their Victoria Beckham collaboration back at the first of the year I was surprised to see so many bee-print items. If you don’t know, my family has been in the honey industry since the 1940s so I’m a little partial to bees! I ended up buying several baby items from the Target collection, including these sweet little shoes, just in case I ever had a baby! (That was some good planning on my part!) I used those shoes to tell my family I was pregnant and my mom has been displaying them in her room ever since. :) Hard to believe that in just a few weeks (oh my goodness) there will actually be a little baby to put them on!
I even got Brent to participate in a couple of photos!
Thank you, Riley, I love them!
Love that burgundy gown. You will be a great mother and no matter what anyone else says to you always trust your gut instinct.
Love these pictures!! Praying for you as you enjoy (and maybe not always enjoy) the last few weeks of pregnancy! Can’t wait to hear the news of your sweet bundle’s arrival!
