It’s been a while since I had a Wantable Style Edit and one just arrived this week. In my attempt to keep you informed, I thought I’d do a review!
To recap:
Wantable offers a style edit monthly (you can skip) for $20. You receive 5 articles of clothing to try on at home and can decide if you’d like to purchase anything. Your $20 is put towards any purchase. If you choose to keep all the items sent to you, you get a 20% discount.
Here’s what I received this month:
-
Luna White Jacket ($75) – This is a cute faux leather jacket, but white’s not the best color on me. Also, this had a little bit of blue discoloration on the collar, so it seems like it might get dirty pretty easily.
-
KLD Sleeveless V-Neck Tunic in Grey ($38) – The note from my stylist Kathryn said that she included clothes that have a fall vibe but are perfect for warm weather, which is certainly what I would need right now as we’re still a bit on the warm side. Unfortunately this is still way more casual than I’d like. I like the drape-y fit but not my favorite.
-
KLD High-Low Tee with Pocket in Olive ($49) – Again, too casual for me and the fit of this wasn’t great for me. It was drape-y but not really flattering.
-
BB Dakota Camara Vest ($85) – This was probably my favorite item in the edit, I love the deep burgundy color and leather detail. The cost of this would still be $65 if I chose to keep it (with my $20 credit), so I don’t know if it’s worth it. It would definitely be cute over a black long sleeve tee once it gets cooler or even over a LBD. I’ll have to think about this one.
-
Olivaceous Faux Suede Front Top in Olive ($60)– this is my second favorite piece, I love the suede front but it was just a bit short, especially in front. (I’m really long-waisted.) I don’t really feel like it’s worth another $40 so I think I’ll pass on it.
