My second Trendsend box arrived last week with three new outfits to try. I had updated my profile after the last box to let them know I didn’t really need any denim and will definitely update it again with some more notes after this box! If you didn’t see the last review and don’t know about the Trendsend box yet, you might want to read my last post, as it has all the details on how this style box works. Long story short, you can get a box of outfits (and jewelry if you want) sent to your home to try on and decide if you want to purchase. There is only a charge of $1 to try it, which is applied to anything you decide to purchase.

I chose again not to receive any jewelry and received three outfits styled by the Evereve store in Classen Curve in OKC:

Here’s a look at the outfits they sent.

1. Jacket, tank, and jeans
  • Free People crop flare ($58)
  • Peyton Jensen Lou stripe tank ($48)
  • Articles of Society Taylor denim jacket ($84)

Let me start by saying there is nothing wrong with this outfit. I know tons of people who would love these pieces and rock the heck out of ’em. This outfit is SO not me though.

First, I do not do cropped pants. At all. I might wear an ankle length pant occasionally but that’s about as far as I’ll go. Definitely not the stylist’s fault as cropped pants are, once again, very trendy. (I will let them know on my box review that I’m not a fan!) Second, I have never felt more like a “mom” than when I put this on! I don’t know if it’s the denim jacket and striped tee combo but again, it’s just not me.

Having said all of that, the pants are really comfortable and if they were a regular straight or skinny leg I would have liked them! Also, this is a really great quality denim jacket, so if you’re in the market for one, I’d check it out!

2. Boho dress and tank
  • Free People Emerald City Mini ($168)
  • Beloved Caged Tank ($28)

OK, this was bad. So, so bad. Again, not the stylist’s fault, but I definitely will let them know this is NOT my style, ha! I’m not into boho looks for myself, and this particular dress was a) super short (like, I had to crop the photos because I don’t want the internet to see that much of my legs!), b) not flattering on me whatsoever, and c) nothing I would ever, ever, ever pick out for myself. Oh man, this did not work!

3. Little Black Dress
  • Allison Joy Sophia Tucked Dress  ($78)

Just when I was thinking this box was going to be a total loss for me this dress saved the day! This is exactly something I would pick out for myself and if I had seen this dress when I was in Evereve last week and tried it on I think I would have bought it then! I adore a good black dress and the length is great on this and I love the perfect drape that cinches the waist. This one is a keeper! Here’s a closer look at the waist detail:

If you haven’t tried the Trendsend box from Evereve, what are you waiting for? Seriously, it’s really low risk ($1 and you have five days to try things on and mail them back – they even provide the envelope and shipping for the return!) and it’s kind of silly NOT to try it! Please let me know if you do! You can use my link here!
