How is it already September? Unbelievable but true. But if it means new Ipsy products, I’ll take it! I’ve already used most of the products from the bag and this was definitely another success.

Along with the fun products every month, I’ve also been introduced to some really great brands. The eyeliner that I loved so much a few months back came from Cailyn so I was excited to see another product from them, and I loved it!
I received the Cailyn Lip Tint in Big Apple (it comes in 18 different shades). This sells for $19 (but 30% off this month with my Ipsy subscription!). I don’t know about you but I feel like any product that comes with a brush seems more luxe, and this was no exception. This paints on easily and gives you a perfect red lip. It’s a matte shade, so I added a light gloss on top for a bit of shine. My husband even commented on the shade and he’s used to all of my experiments by now!
Another product I’ve tried already is the NYX Eye Shadow in Hot Crystal ($4.50).
NYX is another new brand that I’ve come to love. I adore their cream blush which is the best bronzer I’ve tried in a while. This eye shadow, though shimmery and white is great as a highlighter right under your eye brow to really open up your eye and give a little more depth.
My trusty tube of Maybelline mascara is about dried up so I was happy to see a mascara this month, and this deluxe sample was great!
The It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara from Elizabeth Mott sells for $19.99 (50% off this month with my subscription) and I’d say it’s worth the price. It left my lashes dark, soft and full and lasted all day (even through an hour long Sunday afternoon nap, which is the true test of a good mascara).
Since I love my Cailyn eye liner so much, I have not tried this yet, but I will!
This Starlooks eye pencil in Obsidian sells for $12 and I’m always up for a good eye liner that won’t smudge and will last through my day. Especially those days that include allergies or the occasional sob fest (I’m a crier for sure).
Last, were these face masks from Freeman.
Now my idea of a perfect, relaxing day always, always includes a face mask of some sort. Seriously. Even if I don’t see any visible results, just using them feels like a real luxury and like I’m doing something “special”. (It doesn’t take much to impress me.) So I’m thrilled to have these masks! These sell for $1.99 each and the special they are running this month for subscribers is that you can buy all 16 of their face masks for $20 (and also receive a free gift). I may have to do that!
So that’s September’s bag! If you are still considering subscribing, I really can’t say enough good things about it! So fun and so many great products!
