May 2014 Ipsy Bag Review

Springtime is well underway, which means two things: horrid allergies (if you’re me) and preparation for summer! Summer in Oklahoma can be pretty brutal with temps reaching well over a hundred degrees (who knew we could appreciate those 40 mile an hour wind gusts?) and it can be pretty miserable to spend time outside!

I tend to mix up my makeup routine/skincare a bit as the seasons change. When the temps shoot sky high, I’d rather skip the melting makeup routine and go the “less is more” route and focus on sunscreen, moisturizers and products that give a nice summer glow! And the May Ipsy bag is perfect in my quest!

This all-natural sunscreen is water-resistant and lasts 80 minutes. Both light-weight and non-greasy, this looks like the perfect sunscreen to try!

I’m not usually a fan of blues and green on my nails, but this ocean-colored shade might be the exception.

The hotter is gets, the less you wear. (Within reason, guys.) Since I boycott pants until September, I want my legs as smooth and soft as possible! Hopefully this will do the trick!

I think I’m well on my way to better summer skin! If you haven’t tried Ipsy yet, what are you waiting for!? $10/a month and so much fun!
