I’ve got the June Ipsy bag review today! Sorry for all the makeup bag reviews this week, but they arrived so close together! This one was just too good to wait to share! And how cute is this Rebecca Minkoff for Ipsy makeup bag?

Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray
I gave this a try and while it didn’t give me “dream waves”, it did give me some texture. Which is about all a girl with super fine, straight hair can expect from a product like this! If you have any type of natural wave or texture this will probably work better for you! It does smell beach-y, like some mixture of coconut and piña colada. A full-size version of this sells for under $9, so if you do like it, that’s not a bad price to pay for great hair!

Be a Bombshell Lash Out Mascara
I’m running low on mascara and was just about to purchase another tube of my recent fave- Arbonne’s It’s a Long Story , but I might as well try this one for now! Very happy it is a full-size tube too! This sells for $15 normally, but if I like it I can get it for 30% off this month.

NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee
Something about the word “butter” in a beauty product just sounds so rich and luxurious. This lip gloss is no exception. Very wearable and very “butter-y”, but in a very good way. And at only $5, very budget friendly. This has already made it’s way into my bag!

Realtree for Her Perfume
OK, this is quite a brand. Apparently Realtree is the world’s leading camouflage designer. (So beyond my area of knowledge.) Naturally that leads into perfume, right? My only guess can be somebody in the family business really wanted a fragrance line! As for the scent: I like it! It’s a blend of pomegranate, persimmon, orchids, lotus blossom, champaca flower, amber, violet, and mahogany wood. That’s quite the combination! It’s sweet and Summer-y, and still light enough for my taste.

OFRA Universal Eyebrow Pencil
When I first pulled this out of the bag I was curious on the shade. I thought it looked darker than I normally wear, but when I pulled up my Ipsy profile with all the product information it says this shade is supposed to work on everyone (Hence the word “universal” in the name!) It went on kind of thick and a little at first. Not to mention, pretty dark. But I used a brow brush to soften and it actually looks really great. It has a synthetic beeswax base so it will really hold brows in place. This would be great for trying to create a different shape to your brow. I’m looking forward to experimenting! Cara Delevingne brows, anyone?
I really liked this month’s bag! It’s always nice when you love every product! Still haven’t tried it? Go here to get your subscription!

  1. We got the exact same products! To speak for the wavy/curly headed girls – YES the Beach Spray is AMAZING! I’ve used almost my entire sample and bought a full size bottle in the week since I got my bag – I’ve had the natural hair going every day but 2, and gotten a million compliments. I’ve loved not having to fight my hair to style it! I loved the eyebrow pencil too, and it was perfect timing since mine was running out. I found the mascara had a funky smell and burned my eyes, and the gloss was too nude for me – my lips disappeared :(

    1. I haven’t tried the mascara yet, so I’ll beware the smell! And burning! And I’m glad the beach spray worked for you! I love the smell and still plan to use it for some texture!
