February 2014 Ipsy Bag Review

Love this? Share it!

Have I mentioned how much I love Ipsy? (Yes, I believe I have.) Well, it’s still true.  Even if I did have a broken bottle of nail polish this time! (I just contacted them to let them know, so I’ll see how their customer service is!) **Update, within 15 minutes of emailing them, they replied saying they would send me a replacement order, I’d say that’s good customer service!**

Even with a broken bottle, I am really excited about this bag!  In keeping with a Valentine’s theme, pretty much everything, including the bag, is pink!

Zoya Nail Polish in Dot

I was really looking forward to trying this pretty pink polish. Alas, it’s not meant to be, as the bottle was broken in half (luckily it was inside a box) and the polish spilled out.  I may also be a little high off the nail polish fumes right now so this might be a really interesting review! Maybe (hopefully!) they’ll replace it. :) I’ll keep you posted!

This is definitely a shade I would have picked out for myself. This is supposed to have the lasting wear of a stain, but also have a gloss effect, I can’t wait to try!

I have loved, LOVED, every blush Ipsy has sent so far. This looks like another good one! I think this will add a really great natural glow.

Moist & Firm BB

Moist and Firm BB Cream

I’ll admit, it took me a while to get on the BB cream train, but I’m here and I’m staying. I tried my first in another Ipsy bag and have loved it! This one is SPF 45 and is supposed to help brighten skin while helping fight wrinkles. I’ll try it!

I’m really loving this shade. The color is intense going on but you can blend it down. I love it!

Because I had a few referrals and did some product reviews, I earned another free product!  Back when I did my birthday makeover at Sephora one of the things I tried was a Beauty Blender sponge to apply liquid foundation. I’ve been wearing powder foundation over the past few years (when I wear foundation) but feel like accentuates my sometimes dry skin. I loved the Beauty Blender, it made the foundation go on really light and gave it an airbrushed effect.  I bought it (for $20) and then promptly came home and saw that it was a free product option for my next Ipsy bag! So back to Sephora it goes! Plus, this sponge came with the cleanser!
