Ready for a New Year?

Love this? Share it!

It’s almost January 1, so you know what that means. It’s time to make that list of resolutions and hope you can stick to them for more than a couple of weeks! Whether you’re starting a new exercise program or looking to stop (or start) some habits, everyone seems to be ready for a fresh start these days.

How about fresh style start? This is the perfect time to clean out your closet, find what YOU like (and not just what’s trendy) and start the year off feeling (and looking) your best!

A few tips:

Get rid of things that don’t fit or that you don’t really love!

Sounds simple enough, but most of us are probably not feeling our best every day because we’re walking around feeling frumpy or not quite ourselves! It’s time to invest in finding out what you really love! (And then wearing it!)

Experiment with your style!

Not really sure what you like? This is the time to find out! Start reading through fashion magazines and scoping out Pinterest and fashion blogs to see what appeals to you. Once you have some ideas of things you like, head out and start trying them on! It’s the only way you’ll know for sure!

Make it Work

Following the wise words of Tim Gunn, get out there and make it work! Love a certain trend but feel like you can’t pull it off? Just because one pair of skinny jeans, or military jacket doesn’t work for you, doesn’t mean that they’re all going to be misses. Find what you love and make it work for you!

Call in a little help

Find a good shopping buddy. Don’t just call the person who will tell you everything looks great, get someone who will be honest (but nice!) and really help you find what looks best! Or better yet, call me!  I’m happy to help!

In honor of the New Year, I’m offering some specials for the month of January! If you’re really ready to start the year off with a fresh look and updated style, I promise I can help!
