Guess who is used to being in bed by 10:00 (at the latest!) every night and is crazy tired from Fashion Week events? (It’s me.) Still totally worth it though! I pretty much told my husband he was on his own this week and that I’d see him on Sunday. I have seen him a little, in fact, he’s been helping me polish my KFOR.com articles every night! And I left him a frozen pizza for dinner, so all is well, right? (To be fair, I would do that on any number of nights.)
Thursday’s event took place at Penn Square and consisted of fashion presentations by 3 designers and announcing the Rag Trade contest winner.
Amanda Moore, Cenia Paredes and Victoria Roberts all presented collections on the runway while a DJ offered a cool soundtrack.

I spoke to Amanda for a bit and am really impressed by her business! She graduated from OSU in 2012 and launched her line the same year. You can find more info on her and shop from her online store at amandamooredesigns.com!
Another fun event took place last night – the Rag Trade contest. Basically college students had the opportunity to enter an outfit (top and bottom) that they had created, recycled, DIYed, etc. Entries have been on display in the mall since earlier this week and people have been voting on their favorites.

Natalie, who entered the contest, altered an outfit found at Goodwill into the above. I didn’t get a good pic of the awesome artwork she did on the back of the jacket!
The winning look by UCO student Megan Short:

She shared a pic with me of what she had to work with. That top was originally a scarf!

Another fun night and a long day ahead tomorrow! Abi Ferrin trunk show, Fashion & Furs event, and another party held at KD’s tomorrow! Who’s coming??
Amanda and I were in the same sorority in college! Her designs are just so awesome… and I need that chevron back top!!
Awesome! She was really nice!
