The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler, and you are in a full blown panic attack trying to figure out how to dress your family for fall photos. Before you completely lose it, or decide to dress everyone in a black shirt and call it good, take a look at some style boards I did for a photographer friend of mine, Mandy Stansberry.
Keep in mind that you don’t have to match! The goal of a family photo is to capture the true essence of your family, so stay true to yourselves and it will turn out great!
A few tips:
- bold colors photograph well – look for rich jewel tones
- pick Mom’s outfit first and then work around it
- don’t be afraid of mixing patterns – Dad’s plaid and daughter’s stripes can work together
