I read somewhere once that browsing on Pinterest leads to more product purchases than other social media sites. Well, I’ve been doing my part to contribute to those statistics.
I recently came across this sweater in my Pinterest feed.
Most of the time, I’m a fairly rational person. But within minutes, I had purchased. Oops.
My hair is an in-between blonde/brown color that doesn’t look great with grey, so I bought it in black. And I only own roughly 20 black jackets, and clearly, needed another. (That’s sarcasm, in case you can’t tell.)
There is definitely some risk involved in online shopping. Will the size be right? Is the quality good? Will I look like the model on their site? And in this case: yes, yes, and not even close.
