Today I’m focusing on Oklahoma boutique, Cargo Room! If you haven’t checked them out, be prepared to want all the things. You’re welcome. :)
Well, hello there. It’s been a while! I didn’t intend to go so long without writing but things have been a bit busier than normal lately!
Between keeping up with Splendry and Indy and not folding the laundry on my couch, time got away from me and here we are. :)
But, I’m back, and I have a LOT of things to catch you up on!
Today, let’s talk Cargo Room!
It’s been a while since I talked about a local shop or done a little shopping tour (and now it’s been a while since I’ve been INSIDE a store at all!) but I’ve been following OKC boutique Cargo Room on Instagram for a while and during the past few months I’ve seen more and more that makes me want to visit so badly when all this is over.
Fortunately, online shopping is an option and I just made my first purchase! (And if you’d still like to visit in person, you can book private shopping appointments, how cool is that?!)
As soon as things are normal(ish?) I plan to visit the shop and give you a better overall review, but for now, here’s what I just bought and what my experience was like.
I was browsing their items and came across this black floral dress which though super cute, isn’t probably something I’d normally gravitate toward. Something about it though seemed so fun and it looked like a dress I’d love wearing now and later into the fall.
Oh, and did I mention it was on sale for $25? Seriously. Oh, and did I ALSO mention that shipping was free and that I ordered it Thursday and it was on my doorstep on FRIDAY? How’s that for service?!
One of the things I love most about shopping at smaller boutiques is the more personalized shipping and packaging you receive. The envelope and package itself was wrapped adorably and of course included a hand written note thanking me for my purchase.
When’s the last time a major chain did that, huh?
It’s just a nice reminder when you shop local small businesses you are directly supporting a real person in your community!
Back to the dress. It’s cute and fit perfectly!! I read in the fit description of the dress that it ran small through the arms/chest so sizing up would be a good idea and I’m glad I did because it’s perfect.
What do you think?
The tiered skirt is so fun and and it’s really comfortable to wear (elastic waistband, just FYI!!)!
Won’t this also be cute with a denim jacket later or cute belt? Actually now I’m imagining all the ways I can style it, perhaps a new outfit styling post needs to happen!
Oh! I also picked up this cute little dinosaur mask for Indy. We really haven’t gone anywhere for him to have needed one yet, but I know at some point it I’ll be glad I have it!
So, that’s my first experience shopping Oklahoma boutique Cargo Room. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Do you need to check out all the goods for yourself? ABSOLUTELY.
