My idea of the perfect Valentine’s Day gift is something I can wear. So, keep your flowers and your chocolates please. One of my favorite Valentine’s gifts ever was the year I was engaged. Brent took me to dinner and then surprised me with shoe shopping! One pair of red patent leather peep toe pumps and one pair of black leather boots later, and I was a happy girl. Did I win the jackpot with him, or what?
I’ve found that Valentine’s Day is kind of like cats. You either love it, or you hate it. There’s no in-between. Rarely do you hear someone say Valentine’s Day is just “OK”. I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day (and no, I was not the girl that always had a boyfriend, quite the opposite actually!) and even though I don’t really care about doing anything special to celebrate, I still think it’s fun! And I hope you do too! In fact, this year, show yourself some love and pick yourself up something nice!
Love Necklace
I love this necklace! In fact, if I were going to hint to my husband for a gift (hint hint) this might be it! Find it at Publik for $12!
Banana Republic Monogram Diamond Jacquard Dress
This dress is begging for a night out. So I recommend buying it and planning your night around it. Banana Republic $140 (Take 35% off through 2/21 with code BR35NOW)
I love these! ($40) They aren’t normally something I would think I could pull off, but they’re so fun!
Pencil Shavings Studio Love Lucite Tray
I very well might redecorate a room around this tray. ($32, but save 20% with code TRUELOVE through 2/7!) **This was updated to a different tray, the first sold out! (But they do custom orders!)
Zara Wraparound Sandal
Valentine’s Day calls for an awesome red shoe. Done. $59.90 at Zara.
Love Pillow
Nothing is better than home decor that makes you feel all warm and cozy. This “love” pillow is $34 from Nordstrom.
What do you hope to get (or give) this Valentine’s Day?
