Fashion Project + Penn Square = $$

If you’re like me, you’ve probably got more than a few things hanging in your closet that you really don’t want anymore. In fact, it’s kind of amazing the size of the pile I’ve got right now of things to get rid of. I just heard about a way you can 1) get rid of that pile, 2) earn a little shopping $, and 3) contribute to a great cause!
Fashion Project and Penn Square Mall are working together to bring shoppers the opportunity to donate their gently worn clothing and benefit a great cause. (Fashion Project is going to donate 55% of proceeds to the Simon Youth Foundation, a national nonprofit that helps at-risk students who are on the verge of dropping out of high school stay in school.)

Penn Square Fashion Project

Stop by Penn Square sometime today through Sunday, February 1 and pick up a donation bag at Simon Guests Services (on the lower level near the food court). They accept women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories in nearly new or great condition from a lot of different brands (see the full list here and click under “what we accept”). For every five qualifying items you bring, you’ll get a $20 SimonGiftcard.
And if you aren’t in the OKC area, visit Fashion Project to donate on their site. Now go clean out that closet!
