You all know I’m not exactly a t-shirt kind of girl. In fact, if there’s a fundraiser or event selling or offering t-shirts in exchange for donation or participation, I kind of dread it a little bit. I don’t want to throw away your event t-shirt, I just don’t want to wear it! :) The thing is, I probably have all the t-shirts I will ever need in life already. I have the couple that are worn for things like yard work or painting and the handful used for exercising or sleeping in. Yes, the most dreaded screen-printed clothing item of my life is what I spend roughly 1/3 of my day in (or longer depending on when I actually get dressed!).
If I feel least like myself when I’m wearing a ratty ol’ t-shirt, wouldn’t I want to look for some alternatives to sleep in? I’m sure my sleeping, unconscious self would appreciate it! Here is some affordable and stylish sleepwear I’ve recently picked up, or have on my shopping list! (And yes, they’re all comfy!)
Gilligan & O’Malley Flannel Pajama Set
While flannel pajamas might not be the stylish and chic alternatives you were picturing, I couldn’t pass up this adorable set printed with high heels, perfume bottles and lipstick!
I love the colors and hem detail on this pretty chemise (confession, I just learned this was called a chemise)! I don’t know that this one is available online anymore, but this option is gorgeous too, and on sale!
Gilligan & O’Malley Tee and Shorts Set
Yes, it’s a t-shirt, but it’s not printed with a brand, event, random quote, etc., and these shorts are adorable!
Trim Detail Striped Pyjama Set
I love this pink set! The stripes are sophisticated and the pink is fun, it’s the perfect combination!
Xhilaration Top and Shorts
An easy set perfect for lazy mornings of hot tea and lounging…just kidding, who has time to lounge??
boohoo Laura Lace Satin Nightwear Teddy
I think this romper is kind of cute, but my long waist might prevent it from fitting comfortably! It’s cute, though!
Splendid Classic Short Pajama Set
I think this collared set is particularly adorable!
What do you think? Are you a fan of cute sleepwear or do you stick with comfy t-shirts? (No judgment here.) :)
