Apparently I got a little ahead of myself thinking I was 100% better. A little case of fluid in my ear bringing on vertigo proved me wrong. Anyway, let’s just call this week a wash for new posts and try to get back to normal next week. Deal? Thanks! I’ll still announce the winner of the birthday giveaway tomorrow so make sure you enter by tonight!
I really hope you all are still enjoying these style profiles because I am! Today we have Vicki!
Hi, my name is Vicki and I’m from Dallas, Texas! I work in Clinical Research Compliance for a major academic medical institution here in Dallas. In my free time I enjoying spending time with friends, working out, traveling and of course shopping! I take a lot of fashion inspiration from fashion blogs I follow, Youtube, Instagram and of course Pinterest! Some of my favorite places to shop include Zara, Nordstrom and J. Crew.
1. What was the last item of clothing you purchased?
My most recent purchase is a tweed blazer from Zara. I actually found this on eBay, since it sold out on their website.
2. What is your favorite item in your closet?
My favorite Item in my closet is a pair of booties I bought from Zara last fall. They are edgy enough to wear out, but I can still wear them to work with black tights.
3. What trend do you just not get?
I’ve noticed that Birkenstock sandals are coming back into style. These were popular when I was in grade school/middle school and I just cannot jump on board with this trend.
4. What’s on your shopping list?
I’m a big fan of the HRH Collection jewelry line. The items are really great quality, and there are some very unique pieces. I’m currently looking at buying the Luxe Spike Bracelet. It’s a chain and leather bracelet with rose gold spike details.
5. Where would you go on a dream shopping spree?
I’d go crazy in Ted Baker. I love all of his designs, and the quality is superb!
Outfit of Choice:
On my days off of work I like to be comfortable, yet stylish. One of my favorite finds is a pair of leopard pants I bought from Nordstrom Rack. I LOVE leopard print, and these have a bit of a harem cut to them, so they are both stylish and comfortable. I wear them all the time!!
OK, we all have different taste and personal preferences but can I just say that I LOVE Vicki’s style! In fact, I remember when she first posted a photo of those Zara booties on either Facebook or Instagram and was in love when them! Thanks so much for sharing with us Vicki! And if you love Vicki’s style too, leave a comment here and let her know!
