About Angie:

I am a 30-something professional with two small children.  I started posting OOTD a little more than a year ago. I was in a serious fashion rut. When the hubby asks if there is something else you could wear because you’ve worn the same basic outfit every weekend all month long, it’s time for a change. I enjoy sewing, running and home improvement.  I occasionally blog at This Girl on a Budget.

Style Survey:

1. What was the last item of clothing you purchased?

The shoes are my latest purchases (I am sucker for the clearance section at DSW plus who can say no to $30 off $99?).

2. What is your favorite item in your closet?

I love  cropped pants in fun prints, but these wide pants from Limited are heavenly.

3. What trend do you just not get?

I won’t be trying the cropped top trend. It can be cute if done right, but no thanks. One trend I just cannot understand is the high waist jean cutoffs.  This totally shows my age but I’m sorry ladies, they are really reinvented mom shorts.  They weren’t flattering in the 90s and they’re not flattering now. Plus, they are some kind of 20 something uniform.  Stop it already, find your own style pronto.

4. What’s on your shopping list?

Floral shoes, white pants and a maxi skirt. I am eyeing this one from the Gap.

5. Where would you go on a dream shopping spree?

Without a budget, I would love a shopping spree at Banana Republic. I love the style plus they always have great accessories.

Outfit of Choice:
