The Only Hair Product I’m Loyal To

Love this? Share it!

Today I’m going to rave a little about my favorite hair product in this Moroccanoil review. Not because I’m being paid too, just because I love it! I did include an affiliate link though, so if you decide to try it for yourself and you use my link to purchase I’ll earn a commission at no cost to you!

With most things beauty or fashion I don’t tend to stick to just one brand or product that I *only* use. I’m always open to trying new things and think there are a lot of great products on the market that work, in a variety of price ranges.

Having said that, there is one hair product I’ve used over the years and no matter what else I try, I always seem to come back to it! Moroccanoil Treatment.

I can’t remember exactly how I came to first try it, maybe it was in a subscription box? I kind of think maybe my brother gave it to me when he got it in a gift bag from some entertainment event he went to once. Either way, I was first introduced to it many years back and it’s still a favorite.

Moroccanoil Review

What it is:

Moroccanoil Treamtent is a conditioning, styling and finishing hair product. It’s made from argan oil and linseed extract which means it’s super hydrating and nourishing for hair and also helps improve your hair’s health.

How to use it:

I put about a nickel to quarter-sized amount in the palm of my hand, and use both hands to evenly distribute through my damp hair, from around mid-length to the ends. You can also use a small amount to smooth hair or condition split ends too.

What it does:

It leaves my hair sooo silky smooth and it just feels really good and healthy. You know when you leave a salon and your hair just looks and feels so great? It’s like that!

I’ve always steered clear of using many hair products because I like only washing my hair every four days or so. A lot of finishing or conditioning products I’ve tried leave my hair so greasy that I can’t not wash it within 24-48 hours. Moroccanoil has not done that to me! My hair still feels light and soft, but not greasy up until I wash.

Also, I just discovered they have a Moroccanoil Treatment Light that’s designed for fine and light-colored hair, which is pretty cool too. My hair isn’t so light anymore but it is still pretty fine (I just have a lot of it) so I’m going to do a little research to see if that’s what I should use instead.

It’s not the cheapest product on the market – a .85 oz. bottle is $15 and a 3.4 oz bottle is $44, BUT it last a really long time since you use it so sparingly. You can find it places like Sephora or even Amazon, as well as purchase directly from their site (with free shipping).

So that’s my Moroccanoil review – my all-time favorite hair product (well, that and honey!). Now tell me about yours! What is your go-to, always-come-back-to, all-time-favorite hair product?
