L’Oreal® Paris Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray Review

If there’s one thing I wish I could eliminate from my routine completely it would be blow drying my hair. As someone with pretty low-maintenance hair, I know some of you have to go through so much more than I do and I do not envy you in the slightest! My hair is very fine, very straight, but there’s a lot more there than it looks! Drying my hair used to take about 20ish minutes (I almost always just dried the top 3/4 and then twisted it back with the ends damp because I was so over it at that point!) but after recently cutting off 5-6 inches I was down to around 11 minutes. When I saw that L’Oreal® Paris had a product that was supposed to cut down on dry time I had to try it out!

A quick 30 second review of the L'Oreal Paris Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray on JK Style

L’Oreal® Paris Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray

What it is: A primer spray for hair that is supposed to cut down on dry time and protect hair from heat damage

Where to buy it: Drugstores, Amazon, online, etc.

What it costs: Around $4 (I bought mine at Target for $3.99 – affiliate link)

How you use it: Apply on clean damp hair. (I would towel dry mine and then apply.) Spray evenly 6-8 inches away from hair. Blow dry.

How it works: The spray wicks away excess water from hairs to decrease your blow dry time. It also contains Xylose 450, which is a heat-resistant molecule that insulates the hair while heat styling.

My results: It worked for me! I tried this for the first time before my hair cut and my dry time went from around 20 minutes to around 12 and since I cut it (about 6 inches off) it’s gone from about 11 minutes down to under 8. This is without any air drying time, just straight from the shower with some towel drying and immediately blow drying. It might go even faster with some air drying time! Again, my hair is on the finer side so my results might be different than yours.

If you’ve tried it let me know what you thought!
