My Secret Weapon for Looking Like a Fashion Week Pro

I received compensation from Dr. Scholl’s® to write this post. All opinions are entirely my own.

I could not be more excited for fall this year. The weather, the clothes, and of course my favorite event, NY Fashion Week! This year I’m going to be enjoying the shows from the comfort of my own home while I live-stream my favorite designers and check for street-style photos of those lucky ones who will actually be attending in person! The fashion seen on the streets outside the shows usually gives me as much, if not more inspiration, than the shows themselves! I love seeing these street-style stars ready to sit through an amazing designer show before jetting off to another. How do they stay looking so glam when it’s still hot in NYC? More importantly, how are they still able to walk in all those amazing shoes all day long!? I don’t know, but I do know how I do it: with Dr. Scholl’s Stylish StepTM insoles!

My secret to looking like a fashion week pro

The trusty shoe insoles you already know and love have made combining style AND comfort even easier thanks to Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ insoles. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished for a change of shoes while out for the evening or kicked my heels off the second I got in the car because my feet hurt so much. With these insoles I’ve finally found the trick to gorgeous and comfortable shoes! And I can pick them up at Target, where I’m usually found at least a couple of times a week, which makes it so convenient. (You can find them in the footcare aisle near the pharmacy.)

These insoles really couldn’t be easier to use. They’ve got several products to choose from, for both heels and flats! I recently picked up a pair of the Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Clear Cushioning Insoles for flats and my cute, cheap, and no-support flats can now see me comfortably through a full day on my feet!

They’re so easy to use too! Simply wipe the inside of the shoe clean, remove the plastic backing and place the left insole into the left shoe, then the right in the right shoe. Line up the heel with the back of the shoe and press in place! You’re set!

They feel amazing and the clear gel is discreet so the shoes still look great too!

Another favorite product? The Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Ball Of Foot Cushions for High Heels. I always have such a hard time with heels really causing the balls of my feet to ache. In fact, I recall a couple of years ago at a Fashion Week event literally limping to my car at the end of the night because my feet felt so bruised! These insoles are made specifically to address the problem and they work so well. Heels that normally would have been worn for an hour or so can now be worn all day!

One thing I love about these insoles is that they’re easy to remove too! After about 6 months or when they start to wear, you can simply peel them off without damaging your favorite heels and replace with a new pair of cushions!

  1. I definitely need to try the ones for flats. I always take precaution when it comes to providing my heels with extra support, but I always forget to do the same for my flats and it’s equally as important! These are great for not only NYFW, but for every day!
