Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a busy week here, how about you? I could use some downtime this weekend but chances are pretty high it’s not gonna happen. :) I hope you get a well-deserved break though! Let’s get our Friday Favorites!
1. My first Mother’s Day
I guess technically last year was my first Mother’s Day, but since I was less than two months pregnant at the time I didn’t really celebrate! This year though Brent and Indy really went all out! (I’m sure it was all Indy’s idea!)
I started my day with a fabulous breakfast of bacon and cheese biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and fruit juice, followed by a long hot bath while I read the June issue of InStyle magazine and tried a new face mask (more on that later). I’m thinking I should start all Sundays this way!

We headed to church and then came back home for another delicious meal Brent prepared (the best roast I’ve ever eaten!), and one of my favorite desserts ever, the Berry Chantilly cake from Whole Foods. Indy and I both got a nap in before heading back to church Sunday night. Overall it was a pretty relaxing day, a perfect Mother’s Day in my book! I’ll have to share all my gifts with you next week – Brent did an A+ job!

2. Mask of the Week
The mask: TONYMOLY I’m Real Lotus Sheet Mask (You can grab it for $3.75 from Ulta Beauty)
What does it do? This mask is a 3-layer “pulp sheet” (not really sure what that is?) filled with natural ingredients like lotus flower extracts that transform dull, dehydrated skin. It’s supposed to leave you radiant and luminous!
Easy to apply/remove? Yes, just unfold and apply the paper mask and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. I didn’t rinse my face afterward.
Did it work? My skin was definitely left with a dewey, glowy look! I love that these masks don’t leave my skin sticky or irritated, just soft, smooth and yes, luminous!
Final verdict? 5 stars! As you can tell, I’m a big fan of the TONYMOLY line! I promise I’ll try a different brand for next week’s mask!
3. This dress
Ruffled Maxi Tank Dress
Wednesday was Brent’s birthday so we spent the day hanging out and running errands (as one does on your birthday when you’re an adult), and of course, made a couple of stops at Target. The Target closest to me doesn’t carry the Who What Wear line (WHY???), so when I spotted this dress in a different Target store, I was in love! I think this is such an EASY dress for spring and summer! It’s chic without being stuffy, comfy without being sloppy. It would be a great dress for all those weddings on your calendar! I think it needs a spot in my closet… :)
I hope you all have a great weekend!
