Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great week! I’m trying to unwind still from traveling (anyone else need a vacation after they get home from a trip??), and getting back into my routine. I’ve got quite a few new favorites to share with you today, I’ve been walking around with a list of things on my phone to tell you about! Let’s get to it, here’s today’s Friday Favorites!

1. The perfect layering tank
You might remember that I kept a long black layering tank from my last Evereve Trendsend box. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately and it’s definitely on my favorites list!
It’s thin enough to easily layer without getting bulky, and the best part? It’s LOOOONG. I have a really long torso and tanks and tees are always coming untucked from jeans or rolling up. I wore this Evereve tank while traveling last week and I wasn’t messing with it all day, either pulling it down, or tucking it in. It just stayed put!
It’s the Beloved Classic Cami, but they’ve got a longer tunic version and a short version too! The short version would probably be sufficient for you regular-torso length folks! It also comes in white, taupe, and grey, and I’ll probably be buying them all!
2. Hairspray for People Who Hate Hairspray
I would be one of those people.
I hate having products in my hair. (Mostly because I hate washing/drying my hair, I think.) I don’t like for my hair to feel heavy, or greasy, or the worst – crunchy. Which is what hairspray usually does to it. One the few occassions a year that I curl my hair, I can’t wait to get home to wash the hairspray out at the end of the day.
Dove is one of the big sponsors of the Mom 2.0 conference I just attended and they always include a really nice gift bag for all the attendees filled with great Dove products! This year they included a can of their new Compressed Micro Mist Flexible Hold Hairspray, and I was really impressed with it!
My hair still felt soft and smooth, but the waves I made with my flat iron stayed put! In fact, I still had some body the next morning AND no crunchy or sticky residue!! I was also a big fan of the micro mist itself, no heavy wet spots in my hair, or a cloud of hairspray following me around all day. This will be the hairspray I buy again when my can runs out!
3. Lip Color that Won’t Budge
Remember last Friday I talked about my love for the Forever35 podcast? Basically you should stay away from it, and their Facebook group if you don’t want to be flooded with amazing products you’re going to want to try! Someone posted in the FB group about their love of Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink liquid lipstick. Of course, I had to try it! (And now I own four tubes.)
It’s between $7.50-$10 depending where you get it, I’ve bought a few tubes at Target, and one at Ulta Beauty. Right now I have Pioneer, a bright red, Voyager, a bold deep maroon, Lover, a natural-looking pink shade that will be good for every day, and I just ordered Dream but it might be a bit too light pink for me. (I haven’t tried it yet, I ordered it from Target.com and it looks lighter than I was thinking, we’ll see!)

I accidentally left my regular daytime lipcolor at home while I was on my trip and had only Pioneer and Voyager with me. While these particular shades were brighter than I’d normally do for daytime, I actually got tons of compliments on my lips! Plus, a few people I ran into over the course of the conference remembered me BY my lipcolor, so that’s kind of fun!
These lip colors lasted all day long, and didn’t budge at all. They’re a little sticky when you first apply them but once they dry it feels like there’s nothing on your lips at all! I’ll be buying more of these! It’s also worth noting that they’re hard to find in stores! Both Target and Ulta Beauty were sold out of the Lover shade I wanted to try every time I visited, so I finally ordered it online. I guess that’s a good sign that everyone else loves them too!
4. My New Favorite Granola Bars
OK, so not exactly beauty or fashion-related, but these are a new favorite or mine! I told you how Kristen Bell was one of the speakers at Mom 2.0, but did you know she’s one of the founders of This Bar Saves Lives?
I had the chance to try some of these while I was gone and they’re SO good!! My current favorites are the Madagascar Vanilla Almond and Honey, and the Wild Blueberry and Pistachio. SOOO good!
Not only are these bars delicious, but this a company that is working to end malnutrition. You can read more about their awesome business model here.
This Bar Saves Lives is sold at Starbucks, Target, Whole Foods, and lots of other places online.
That’s all my Friday Favorites for today! I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll see you next week!
