1. This Bubble Mask

friday favorites elf hydrating bubble mask review

I love face masks and when I first heard about bubble masks I knew I wanted to try one! I saw that e.l.f. came out with a hydrating bubble mask it was the perfect time to try it! A bubble mask works pretty similarly to a regular face mask, the only difference is that the formula bubbles up on your face as it’s activated.

For the e.l.f. mask, you just apply a thin layer to damp skin, let it bubble up and sit for a few minutes, rub in, and then rinse off! I’ve used this one now a couple of times and really love it! You can actually feel the bubbles fizzing on your face!

Just letting my face bubble up a bit!

Have you tried this particular mask or another bubble mask? I’d love to hear you thoughts!

2. This (hopefully) faster-drying hair primer

I saw recently that L’Oreal had come out with a primer spray designed to help cut down blow drying time. I LOATHE drying my hair! It feels like it takes an eternity and usually I don’t have the patience to dry it all the way meaning my ends are damp and irritate me so I then twist it back and it dries weird!

I’ll try it out and write a full review next week to see if it actually helped dry my hair faster!

3. This oil cleanser

Friday Favorites Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

I have a dilemma I need your help with. Back in October I received a deluxe sample of the Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil in my Ipsy bag. I had never tried a cleansing oil before and didn’t really know what to expect. Turns out, I should have expected to LOVE IT. Unlike a normal skin cleanser that you apply to a wet face and then rinse, you apply this oil to a dry face, massage it into your skin and then rinse it off. My skin has been problem free since I started using it and I love seeing my makeup completely melt away with zero residue when I use it.

Here’s my issue, a full size bottle runs close to $50. Which is about 10X more than I generally pay for a face cleanser. Considering I’m still using the .5oz bottle I received last fall I know it will definitely last a long time (and I use it about six days a week – I use a gentle exfoliator the other day). Should I go ahead and buy it? Or see if there’s another cleansing oil I might like just as well that is cheaper? Any thoughts??
