Friday Favorites: March 16, 2018

Love this? Share it!

How’s your week been? Mine was pretty boring, just a lot of working from the couch, feeding a baby, and avoiding the pile of laundry on the couch. (And yes, it’s a different pile from last week!) I’m hoping next week brings something exciting, though maybe I should be careful what I wish for! :) Let’s get to some Friday Favorites!

1. Giveaway winner!

I recently asked you all for some feedback on the kind of content you want to see more of on JK Style in 2018. I’m guessing some of you are new because there were several suggestions for recipes…so…I think you’re in the wrong place! (You can head over to Splendry for that!) I’m sticking to style and beauty here on JK Style, with a little bit of of my baby Indy thrown in!

I pulled a winner at random and the lucky recipient of a beauty bag is…. Liesl! Liesl, I’ll be mailing this soon!

I’ve got a fun giveaway planned for hopefully next week so keep an eye out!

2. New skin favorite

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water - Friday Favorites - JK Style

On my quest to get my skin in shape after the baby (my skin went nuts, post-pregnancy!) I finally tried some Micellar water, which I’ve been wanting to try forever! I’m really loving it!

I bought some Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water and I’ve been really happy with it! This is the first time in a long time I feel like my makeup is actually ALL coming off! This takes off my eye makeup, lipstick, everything! And my skin is feeling soft and looking SO much better! I’m still using the sleeping mask at night and the moisturizer I mentioned before. The combination of these products has me finally feeling (and looking) like myself again!

3. Kate Spade opens today!

If you are wondering where I’ll be at 10 AM today, see the photo above! I’m a HUGE Kate Spade fan and I am excited to check out the new store at the OKC Outlet mall! Let me know if I’ll see you there!

4. Hair Cut next week?

It’s time for my yearly hair cut! (Yes, I usually just get it cut once a year, I’m lazy like that!) Last year’s cut was fantastic and I fully intended to keep it up but I decided to grow it out since I was pregnant and wanted to be able to put it up in a bun all the time – my go-to pregnancy hair, I guess!

I liked last year’s cut so much I think I might just do it again, what do you think?

I’ll let you know what I decide, I’m sure you’ll be dying to know! ;)

Have a FANTASTIC weekend, friends!
