Friday Favorites: February 10, 2017

Love this? Share it!

It’s been a good week. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing super exciting. Just a plain, normal, boring week. And that’s exactly what I’ve been needing! I hope your week was also boring and normal and that all the excitement (the good kind) is just around the corner! Let’s get to today’s Friday Favorites!

Friday Favorites on JK Style for February 10, 2017.

1. This shampoo

Before Christmas my brother, Marcus and I were doing some shopping and stopped by Lush at Penn Square Mall.  Marcus had mentioned a shampoo he had heard about that’s great for volume. He has longer hair than I do (and it’s the kind of long gorgeous hair that makes strangers stop him on the street) and we both have the same straight hair that just kind of hangs flat.

We each picked up a sample of their Big Sea Salt Shampoo and after using it a few times I think I’m sold! It’s definitely a little pricier ($27.95) than the cheap drugstore shampoo I usually pick up but the small sample I had lasted a lot longer than I thought it would so I think this will still be more than worth it!

2. This type of rose

I’m all for the occaisonal bouquet of flowers, but let’s get real. I’d much rather have something that lasts longer than a few days! Instead of roses for Valentine’s Day I think I’d take these Milani Cosmetics Rose powder blushes instead! (Just $9 each!)

3. This video

I’ve never been good with hair. I never learned how to do a fishtail braid or french braiding or well, anything other than your basic braid! I finally saw this video showing how to do a fishtail and it actually is WAY easier than I thought! Even I might be able to do it!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
