1. Questions
I don’t know if you saw Monday’s post, but I’ve got some new things I’m working on, but I’d also love to hear from you on what you want to see! I’ve had a few requests lately but please let me know if there are questions you have I can maybe help with! (And if I can’t help, I’m REALLY good at Googling!)
2. Mask of the Week
I picked up this mask during the Target beauty sale a couple weeks back on a whim!
The mask: Pacifica Stress Rehab Coconut & Caffeine Facial Mask. $3.99 from Target
What does it do? Meant as rehab for your face! Helps fight puffiness, redness and “stressed” skin.
Easy to apply/remove? Yes. Apply like any other sheet mask. The package says to leave on 10-20 minutes and then massage the remaining serum into your skin. (Read on to see what I did.)
Did it work? YES. Here’s what happened. I put the mask on and noticed the nice coconut-y smell (not too strong) and immediately felt a little tingle in my skin. You know those products you put on and don’t really know if they’re actually doing anything, you use them just because? This wasn’t like that. After about 10 minutes my face is really tingly and I notice that the skin above my upper lip actually feels kind of numb. I take the mask off and am sure I’m having some sort of allergic reaction or something and decide that instead of rubbing the remaining serum into my face I should just wash it off. I do and the tingly/numb feeling immediately goes away. I’m left staring at a younger, more rested version of myself, with the smoothest, firmest face I’ve had in years. Uh, I don’t know what that was but I’ll take it.
6 out of 5 stars! (THAT’S HOW MUCH I LIKED IT!)
3. These sandals
I find them both fun and kind of ridiculous, which is always a good combination! I know they’re not for everybody, so tell me, would you wear them?
That’s all for now, see you next week!
