A few things I’m loving this week:
1. September is getting sweeter!
September brings us a lot of fun things – back to school time, cooler temperatures, football, NY Fashion Week (!!), and, it’s also National Honey Month! But you already knew that, right? Growing up in a beekeeping family, I may be a little more tuned in to all things honey than your average fashion blogger, but I just wanted to share! This month, instead of just keeping that honey in the kitchen for your morning tea, add some to your beauty routine!  Honey is a natural moisturizer and is great for a facial mask. Try this honey cinnamon facial mask I found online. I’m going to try it myself!

3. It’s NY Fashion Week!
NY Fashion Week is upon us and this girl is excited. I’ll be watching the shows online and I’ll make sure to give you some highlights next week!!

 4. Do Something Good
It’s Friday. You’re alive. You have some sort of access to technology and are reading a fashion blog. I could go on, but let’s face it, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for in terms of daily life right now compared to so many other parts of the world. So, finish getting caught up on my blog ;) and then do something good for someone. Write an encouraging note to someone. Give a few dollars to someone who needs it. Let the person behind you in line to checkout go in front of you. It doesn’t have to be a huge gesture, but it can have a huge impact on someone’s day! There’s so much sadness in the world these days, so treasure the happy things in life and try to be a source of light in the world!
Make sure you check back next week for more fashion, fun, and who knows, maybe even a giveaway!
