Let’s start this first full week of March with a little more Q&A! I am one of the more curious people you’ll ever meet so I love that for my last couple of giveaways I’ve included entries where you get to ask me a question but you have to answer it too! Here are a few new questions I’ve received on everything from favorite beauty products to favorite desserts!
Q from Dagmar: Whats your favorite dessert? Mine is cheesecake!
Though I can easily eat a pan of brownies, my favorite dessert is probably pie! Either chocolate, lemon meringue, or key lime!
Q from Ashley P.: What is your favorite brand of mascara for long lashes? :)
Ashley, I just noticed you hadn’t answered this one yourself! Right now my favorite mascara is Mary Kay Lash Intensity (You can see my full review here). I also have really liked Marc Jacobs, L’Oreal and Maybelline Great Lash is always a great option! I’m always open to new suggestions though so share your favorite with me!!
Q from Mistle: What is your favorite food to eat? Mine is sushi and crawfish.
Chips and salsa, no question about it! I am not a big foodie, I mean I like eating good food, but am not going to go out of my way or spend a ton of money on food. I just don’t care that much. EXCEPT when it comes to chips and salsa! I am always, always, ALWAYS up for good restaurant chips and salsa and have a few favorite brands I love to eat at home too. (One of my all time favorites is the fresh salsa from Whole Foods!)
While I don’t consider this as quite the same thing as restaurant chips and salsa, when it comes to my food I eat at home, here’s my FAVORITE snack of all time. (And yes, some people have told me it sounds disgusting, but I LOVE it.)
Nacho Cheese Doritos + Pace Picante Sauce (Medium)
I have been eating this combination since I was a little kid and don’t plan on stopping. I probably go through a 64 oz. (4 lb.) container of this salsa monthly. Is this weird? Never mind, I don’t want to know.
Q from Shelley: Favorite place you have ever visited? For me it’s a 3 way tie between Paris, Ireland and Vienna!
Fun fact, Shelley who asked this question was one of my roommates during my semester abroad in Europe during college! (Hi Shelley!!) I’ve been lucky enough to get to visit some amazing places in my life but the one city I love the most has to be Paris. I visited for the first time when I was 19 (during my semester abroad) and have been back three times. You know how magical and romantic Paris seems in books and movies? Here’s the truth: It’s really like that!
Right before my first visit someone told me I would probably be disappointed in the city. They said it would be dirty, gross, and full of rude Parisians who hated Americans. That couldn’t have been further from the truth for me! I have had nothing but wonderful and beautiful times in this city and have encountered so many wonderful, kind people who were so lovely. Like everything in life, I’m sure Paris is not for everyone. But it’s definitely for me and holds such a special place in my heart!
I’ll continue to answer questions every month so if you’ve got one, feel free to ask! (Just don’t forget to answer it yourself!)
